Introduction For New People

The worst case scenario has happened. Due to a mishap of epic proportions, a virus has been loosed. Not like the flu... no... much worse. This virus eats away at your brain. It turns you, for lack of a better word, into zombies. There are rumors that some are immune, and that they are the cure, but to find out you need to be bitten, since that is the only way it can be transfered. The problem with that form of testing is that no one knows what the signs of becoming immune are. Normally if your bitten, someone around you will perform a mercy killing, not willing to take the chance of you turning. Along with the rumors of immune individuals, are rumors of journals that the scientists left behind explaining in detail about the virus and the signs of being immune versus the signs of turning into one of the undead.

It's been three months now. You are one of the last surviving, uninfected people. You have been wandering around, in search of shelter, food, water, medical supplies, anything that can help you live to see another day. This is your calling, to join in the ranks of the refugees and write the history of the new world...

If you wish to join this blog/roleplay, you would need to meet the requirements for your character(s) and post them as a comment to this post and this post only. Also, YOU ARE NOT YOUR CHARACTER. DO NOT DESCRIBE YOURSELF. You may base your character off yourself, but no exact copies. Remember that this is a roleplay and not reality: these people should not be real.

Personality: (what are they like? whats their back story?)
Weapon: (sword, dagger, knives, guns, melee weapons, fists and feet, any others you can think of)
Picture: (go to photobucket.com and put the HTML code. make sure it is a good picture of just your character) (IT MUST BE OF A REAL PERSON. NO ANIME)

The limit is three characters per person. (special circumstances are allowed if you ask one of the mods) When your character is listed among the Refugees, it means you have passed inspection and you can use them in the blog.

P.S. - Each character is unique. They have different strengths and weaknesses, but their has been issues in this subject. We need to keep this fair. That means no super powers, no mutations, no god or spirit things that will give you an edge on the other players. Each character has its own special thing, yes, but that thing should not be so great it puts them above the other characters. Make your characters real and relatable. The only thing that should be supernatural about this blog is the zombies. Thank You.

Basic physical description: Air Force Uniform, tactical vest and gloves, Tattoo of Angelic Grim Reaper on chest
Personality: Outgoing, very protective, agile, moderately strong, Knowledge of advanced military strategy, and extensive hand-to-hand combat training. Trevor was on Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV as a fighter pilot. He has a wife 2 sons and a daughter. He has been through 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He regularly works out to stay in shape. He is very handy around mechanical equipment and prides himself in being able to fix majority of equipment. He was Prepping his plane for the daily routine flight when the outbreak hit his base. all flights were grounded, base was put on lock down but a little too late. The infected had already breached the perimeter. He could not get a hold of his family, and rushed to his home. His family was nowhere to be found. He is now wandering around searching for his family and some kind of hope that they are alive.
Weapon: a pistol holstered to his thigh, an assault rifle slung over his back, and a knife.

Basic Physical Description: T-shirt with Overalls. The straps holding the overalls up tied at the waist. Black work boots. Dirty, oil stained hat. Chin stubble.
Personality: Kind, and goofy, yet stern when it comes to it. He was the father of a young boy who died of cancer at the age of 6 and his wife left him for another man. He works in a mechanics shop, working on electrical components mostly. He was at his house, working on his car, when he heard screams and shouts. He saw zombies attacking his neighbors. He had a bug out kit stashed in his truck. He drove out of there as fast as he could. His truck has a radio, so he can listen for other survivors along the way. He searches for the outpost he heard of over the CB radio, hoping it could be close.
Weapon: His trusty hunting rifle, bowie knife, and set of six inch throwing knifes.

Ok. Thanks. And bug out kit is kinda like a kit that has some food, water, some supplies stashed away for a emergency.

The rifle is standard issue .30-06 rounds. Heavy duty stuff. Rifle is a deer rifle. Don't know the model. And thanks for letting me know about the rooms.

Name: Jack "J" Steinweld
Age: 22

Hair: Brown w/ red streaks.
Eye color: Gold edged with green in the middle.
Basic physical description: Wears thin edged glasses, wears a Grim Reaper T, with a red stained hoodie. Wears shorts no matter what, and has a tattoo of a dragon on his upper arm. Carries a bag of fantasy novels and College grade books. And a doll with his dead sisters name on the bottom of the foot. Is a nerd at heart, but is physically built from years of bullying.
Personality: Very nice, but mumbles to himself if left alone for to long. If heard its mathematical equations and scientific theories. Is extremely loyal, but has a dark side. Is a pacifist at heart and hears everybody out. Jack was a college student that had graduated high school early for he had a very high intellect. Before the events that destroyed the planet he was studying the same virus that has infected numerous billions. On the day the virus escaped the lab, he was trying to get home only to get a terrifying call. It was his 14 yr old sister screaming that mom and dad were trying to get into her room and wouldn't stop. He told her he would be there to help, but was to late. He decided to put his family out of there misery with a sword that his grandfather had given him from WW2, and grabbed up his sister doll as a memento for what she had told him a few days earlier. "Never change, no matter what people do to you, you will always see the light they cannot find." On his way through the destruction he grabbed up a few throwing knives that his father and grandfather had taught him to use. And because he knew he was physically built he picked up a few gauntlets from the museum and using what little he knew from welding with his uncle, he reinforced the knuckles with sharp studs for a bigger impact. With all this he sets out to find survivors hoping that his knowledge of the virus can help concoct a cure for the future of the human race.
Weapon: Gauntlets he found at a museum that cover all the way to his elbows. Made of plate metal, and had reinforced studs on the end for a bigger impact and also inlaid with leather and rubber to avoid blood contamination. Also carries a small arrangement of throwing knives for a quite kill. And a katana as a last resort.

The Rules

1: No excessive swearing. It's understandable if the character is in pain or just does every now and then, but not every other word.
2: Use () or the chat box if you wish to talk out of character.
3: No playing as another persons character, unless they give consent.
4: NO GOD MODDING. No one likes it and it kills the RP.
5: Be respectful and generally nice.
6: Stick to the script. No random pie fights in the middle of a shoot out.
7: Keep the sexual stuff to a minimum. No actual sex, but if your character does have it, just hint at it lightly. remember the creator can delete your message if its too much.
8: Listen to the Mods. They are Kitty and Max. That means if we say no, then no means no.

The Refugees

Riley Wolfe - (Kitty's Character)

18 years old, 5'8", has dark brown hair, bright green eyes, she is Quinn's younger sister. She wears a black gemstone necklace, black converse, dark cargo pants, a black "Monster" brand hoodie with a white tee thats torn and bloody underneath. She is hardened, cold, but is very agile and stealthy. the only person that is able to crack her shell is Quinn. She carries a rucksack for her essentials, a sword strapped to her belt and two daggers strapped to her calves. The sword and daggers are a set that used to be her mother's, before the outbreak. She doesn't let people in easily, after she had to kill her sister, Willow, when she was bitten by a rogue zombie.

Quinn Wolfe - (Kitty's Character)

20 years old, 6'2", he is an exact replica of his sister, with dark brown hair and dark green eyes. He wears a dark red tee and dark jeans, his shoes are brown hightop converse. He carries a camping back pack for the supplies. His weapons are a .22 pistol and a .17 rifle that were his dads. He is very overprotective of his sister, mainly from brotherly love, but also because he feels guilty for not being there to protect them. He is in general friendly and outgoing, very open, but can be deadly when called to do it.

Lucy Sevy - (Max's Character)

17 years old, 5'5", with red hair, deep blue eyes, and glasses, Lucy comes off as a sweet, smart, and sometimes snarky, girl. She has been mainly depressed since the outbreak, the cause being her parents and brother one of the first turned. She wears a tiny silver cross necklace and her mother's wedding ring. She tends to be a bit of a know-it-all, but she puts on a strong front. Deep down, she's really scared. She relies on her friend John to keep herself going. Her talent with knives and throwing them, along with her skill with a bow, shows what her weapons are, but she would rather have John protect her.

Jonathan "John" Hanson - (Max's Character)

19 years old, 6'0", blonde hair, light blue, almost grey, eyes, John is fast thinking and always ready to speak his mind. Before the zombies started to take over, he played rugby, which attributed to his never-back-down attitude. He is very brave and loyal, willing to protect his loved ones at any cost. He grew up an orphan, so he didn't lose anyone, but he does care deeply for lucy, who he loves like a sister. He would doe to protect her if needed. He is very handy with any melee weapons, but he carries with him a sawed-off shotgun he found and a two-and-a-half sword.

27 years old, 6'2", red haired and blue eyed. Sam wears an Air Force Uniform, tactical vest and gloves. He has a tattoo of an angelic grim reaper on his chest. Shortly after joining the group, he goes to look at the electrical panel and never returns. When the group searches for him the next day, they find him with multiple bite marks and long gashes. They bury him and give him a funeral, but not before putting a final bullet in his skull as a precaution so he won't come back.
